DNG can have the following meanings:
Negative-index metamaterial or negative-index material (NIM) is a metamaterial whose refractive index for an electromagnetic wave has a negative value over some frequency range.
Digital Negative (DNG) is a patented, open, non-free lossless raw image format written by Adobe used for digital photography.
