Bhimsen Thapa listen (Nepali: भीमसेन थापा; August 1775 – 5 August 1839) was the mukhtiyar of Nepal (equivalent to prime minister) from 1806 to 1837.
In the Hindu epic Mahabharata, Bhima or Bhimsen (Sanskrit: भीम) is the second of the Pandavas. The Mahabharata relates many events which portray the immense might of Bhima.
